Immediately after your payment is confirmed, our system auto-generates a unique 6-digit code and texts it directly to the phone number you provided during checkout. The whole process takes under 10 seconds.
Absolutely. Every container has a built-in touchscreen and card reader. Walk up, select an available unit, tap or swipe your card, and your access code is sent to your phone instantly. The unit is simultaneously blocked from online booking.
All StorageBoxUS units are 8×8 feet — a practical size for furniture, appliances, boxes, seasonal equipment, and business inventory. Each unit is a solid steel container built for weather resistance and security.
Our minimum rental period is one month. After that, you can renew monthly, or switch to a 3-month or annual plan to save. There are no cancellation penalties — just give us notice before your next billing date.
You can always log in to your account at StorageBoxUS.com to view your active access code, or request a new one to be texted to you. Your code can also be rotated from your account dashboard for security purposes.
Our system uses real-time database sync. The moment a unit is rented — online or on-site — it is instantly flagged as unavailable across all channels simultaneously. A unit can never be double-booked because availability is checked against a single live database.
